Our client’s office in Greenville, SC is looking for enthusiastic team members with a can-do attitude that supplements our growing process team. We are currently looking for Associate Process/Specialty Engineer’s and Process/Specialty Engineer’s.

These positions are for the Mining & Metals group supporting multiple projects across the lithium and other metals involved in battery manufacturing markets.

Typical tasks are:
• Perform process engineering assignments such as creating P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and working on PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams)
• Participate in P&ID and Safety reviews.
• Perform pump hydraulics, line sizing, equipment sizing, calculating heat duty, specifying instrument data
• Understand and follow baseline documents for your project such as the prime contract, scope of work and schedule
• Get familiar with and apply client’s practices and procedures.
• Job complexities and responsibilities will quickly increase as experience is gained

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and with either two (2), five (5), eight (8) or ten (10) years of work-related experience.
• BS or MS Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Experience working with P&IDs
• Experience with pump hydraulics and line sizing
• Experience in Microsoft tools - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Apply knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Apply knowledge of applicable industry guidelines and regulations.

• Experience with an EPC company in a process engineering role
• Experience in lithium or other minerals and metals processing
• Experience with materials science
• Familiarity with process simulator tools such as Metsim
• Familiarity with a hydraulic sizing program such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow
• Preference for a candidate local to Greenville, SC
