Process Safety Engineer

Industry Exp. : Oil & Gas ( Offshore).
Exp. Range : 5-15 Years.

•Responsible to review ITB documents related to Fire proofing, Firefighting systems, Fire and gas detection systems, hazardous area classification drawings etc.
•Responsible to prepare Material Requisitions and review of Vendor offer for Tank foam systems, firefighting and safety equipment and safety studies.
•Responsible to coordinate with other disciplines and provide inputs related to safety and environmental requirements.
•Calculation of Fire water demand and hydraulic calculation for fire water network. Preparation of Process diagrams (PFD’s, P&ID’s) for Fire water network, Deluge distribution network. Preparation of various HSE Layouts like Firefighting & Lifesaving Equipment Layout, Escape Route Layout etc.
•Preparation of Hazardous Area Classification schedule and drawing based on EI-15 and API-505.
•Preparation of Fire and Gas Philosophy, layouts and review of F &G mapping study.
•Prepared and Reviewed Specification, Datasheet and RFQ of firefighting system components such as Deluge valve, Fire pump etc.
•Prepared and Reviewed Specification, Datasheet and RFQ of safety and lifesaving systems such as TEMPSC(Lifeboat), Life raft, Life jackets, life buoy, eye wash and safety shower etc.
•3D modelling of Firefighting and Safety / Lifesaving system with help of PDMS & Navis work software
•Reviewed Formal Safety studies such as Flare Radiation and Flame out Dispersion Analysis, Loss of containment frequency Analysis, Fire Risk Analysis, Explosion Exceedance Analysis, Escape evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA) and Dropped Object Assessment.
•Prepared in house excel sheets for Fire water demand calculation (Including Nozzle arrangement and Optimization) and Topside & Subsea Dropped Object Analysis tool(DNV-RP-F107).
