Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing - Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with the company's goals and renewable energy projects. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
- Supply Chain Management - Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize holding costs while maintaining sufficient stock for project requirements.
- Contract Management - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor contract performance and take corrective action as needed to ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
- Cost Management - Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or project timelines. Conduct regular cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Risk Mitigation - Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions. Implement risk management practices to ensure the continuity of the supply chain.
- Collaboration - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Foster effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external suppliers.
- Compliance - Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and supply chain management. Ensure compliance with environmental, social, and ethical standards in the supply chain.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field
- MCIPS qualified.
- Proven experience as a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager in the renewable energy or related industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and the associated supply chain requirements.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive cost-effective solutions.
