Procurement, Manager

The Opportunity

Our client, an industry leader in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team. Your key role will be to work together with the Finance, Manufacturing and Logistics teams developing a cost effective supply chain process. The individual will be well versed in strategy, sourcing, data analytics and full supply chain cycles. Strong knowledge of a manufacturing environment is essential for this role including exchange rate & currency rates, manufacturing equipment, knowledge of ERP systems, contract management and the desire to budget and promote long term savings on procurement costs.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related degree.
• Proven experience managing the procurement of supplies requiring technical knowledge.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience
• SCMP, APICS or other industry certifications is desired
