“TRS is urgently looking for a Senior Procurement Team Lead with Logistics / Procurement / NEC 3 and Forex experience to join our leading Client’s project team based in Midrand, Johannesburg.”

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• To implement processes and agreements for site execution, logistics, transportation into Africa.
• Ensuring that all goods / services are procured on time with NEC 3 contract guideline, on time and at the highest quality.
• The suitable applicant will be doing work for the Non-SA side of the Business i.e. exports into Africa for EPC projects.
• Site execution, logistics / transportation into Africa.
• Implement and management of logistics processes.
• Forex is a Key requirement as well as Forex strategies.
• NEC 3 knowledge is required on dealing with these procurement processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Qualification: 3 Year Higher National Diploma (Technicon) (Logistics / Procurement).
• Proven experience of export practices and management of the logistic and procurement processes from SA to Africa is a necessity.
• Minimum 8 to 12 years’ experience in Logistics
• Minimum 5 years of Procurement / Commercial experience in a senior position
• Understanding of all facets of the procurement process
• Understanding customs and all factors linked to international contracting
• Experience in administration of EPC projects
