Project Director

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Project Director to work for our client’s team. Our client is a leading global consultancy specializing in innovative infrastructure and mobility solutions. With a strong commitment to sustainability and excellence, they empower communities through transformative transportation projects that shape the future of urban mobility.

Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to grow the project pipeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Conduct independent technical reviews and ensure quality assurance across all project phases.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
• Promote the organization’s capabilities through industry engagement, presentations, and publications.
• Mentor and coach technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee proposal development, including writing, reviewing, and approving submissions.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
• Lead the delivery of large-scale transportation projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
 

• Minimum 20 years of experience in transportation or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for team development.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex engineering solutions and manage technical risk.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with proposal strategy and bid management.
• RAQS qualification is an asset.
