In this role, the qualified candidate will be responsible for the overall execution management of the project, an estimated length of 5 – 6 years. The position will also require the successful individual to manage all aspects of project execution in Canada on site, including, but not limited to Safety, Project Controls, Risk, Contracts, Site Construction, Logistics and Materials Management.
Job Duties:
• Manage EPC Contractor compliance and other integral legal and commercial agreements
• Develop and implement project plans and procedures and protocols
• Manage performance of EPC, subcontractors and vendors
• Directly manage the execution of the Owner's scope, which includes temporary marine facilities and external substation with incoming transmission lines
• Provide accurate reports on the performance of EPC activities to stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Degree in Engineering
• 20+ years of major project experience within the oil and gas industry in various execution phase key roles in project management, engineering, and construction
• 10+ years of direct supervisor experience managing large diverse multi-cultural organizations across various international locations
• Previous experience in direct management of projects over $1B, executed by an oil and gas EPC Contractor
• Management of various contracting strategies (lump sum turn key, reimbursable, unit rates, etc.)
