Project Engineer
TRS Staffing is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to work as a lead on a renewables project. The role is outside IR35, working on a hybrid basis from the client office in Hampshire.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Performing project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems.
Assisting in management and coordination of activities among all project functions and engineering disciplines in accordance with the established Project baseline.
Coordinate efforts of technical disciplines, vendors, and licensors to ensure integrated and complete designs that meet project requirements and contractual requirementsSupport creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against the plans
Support creation and coordination of project effort hours, and cost estimates and budgets, and monitor progress and cost performance against these
Support the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages

Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Accredited degree of global equivalent in applicable field of study
Chartered Engineering Status CEng is preferred
Proven working experience in projects
Evidence of successful performance in a project engineering position on small, medium, or large-sized project
Be able to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Flexible and willingness to travel to project sites
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Proven experience of working effectively with the Client, project team members, management, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
Experience with Scrum, Lean, Agile Methodologies or willingness to learn in practice
