Project Engineering Manager

TRS Staffing have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager with Offshore Wind experience.


The Role will see you be responsible for ensuring an integrated engineering design of the project.

Providing technical expertise and support to the Project, and collaborating with the team, the Clients, and any contractors.

The role provides an opportunity to ensure a robust engineering design solution is developed.



Responsibilities
Management and coordination of the project engineering team
Management of Stage 2 – pre-FEED, FEED and technical feasibility studies
Management of design, engineering & technical risks
Development and implementation of a Project Engineering Management Plan
Development, implementation and management of a Design Review process
Management of all technical interfaces
Engineering and technical support to all project packages
Management of technical documentation and control
Chair the weekly technical progress meeting and provide weekly progress report
Stand in for Technical Lead when requested
Any other activity that is deemed required for the project


Your Profile
Educated to degree level, preferably in an engineering and/or technical subject; (preferable to Chartered Status)
A proven track record in large value, major infrastructure development and construction projects, ideally with specific offshore wind, power generation or oil & gas experience
Highly motivated with a positive attitude with excellent communication skills
A proven ability to lead a team of multi-disciplined project design engineers
