The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of a large-scale port infrastructure upgrade in West Africa.
The Project Manager will have a contract management team to support with all the contract administration but will be the contract owner for this scope. There will be one main contractor that they need to manage. The Project Manager will also have accountability for schedule, cost, engineering, document control and Health & Safety of the Port scope. This role will be reporting into the Project Director.
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
Civil Engineering Degree or similar
Strong Project Management and Commercial experience in managing construction contractors.
They will need to have NEC experience as well as experience in Port infrastructure work.
International Mining or Construction experience – Africa experience preferable.
Port Infrastructure project experience
This role will be based in Liberia on a rotational basis so please only apply if you are happy to work in Liberia.
