We currently seek a high caliber Construction PM for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Woodlawn, MD.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company that works with Federal contractors and has positions open throughout the country. This company is currently seeking a Project Manager to be part of an Owner's agent (CMa) team in support of the SSA HQ Program, in Woodlawn, MD for the General Services Administration, and specifically for the Altmeyer Column Repair project. This is a Full-Time position starting in October 2024 for 2 years. The Project Manager will be an essential part of the CMa team and will provide sound and proactive management advice to GSA to ensure the project is run safely and all GSA standards are met. The Project Manager shall have full understanding of the project contract documents, GSA and end user goals and requirements as validated by the Contracting Officer. The Project Manager shall effectively monitor, assess, coordinate, and inspect the construction work of the contractor on the behalf of GSA.

Job Requirements
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, and the Contractor team
- Manage and coordinate consultants and staff to provide a full range of construction management services during all Phases of the construction project.
- Manage project schedules from inception to close out
- Lead project construction job-site meetings, generate meeting minutes
- Review and recommend approval of contractor monthly requisitions and invoices
- Manage Quality Assurance program, do regular site inspections for quality assurance and provide reports.
- Provide efficient change order management and cost control including tracking/reporting
- Provide submittal and RFI reviews/comments, provide Document Control management, tracking and reporting
- Report on project issues and provide status updates
- Perform other duties as may be required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of (10) years of construction experience serving as a Construction Manager, Construction Management Representative, Owner's Representative.
- Experience managing projects greater than $5M in value with structural components as part of the scope of work.
- Have previous experience performing construction administration on renovation projects within occupied buildings.
- Experience as a Project Manager on GSA projects and familiarity with federal policies and procedures
- Have experience preparing cost estimates and Independent Government Estimates.
- Have experience reviewing and commenting on contractor construction schedules.
- Have experience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals, document control and working with project management software.
- Have experience in a CMa role managing construction projects for Federal Agencies.
