Project Manager (Industrial)

Our client is one of the region's leading construction companies and are looking for a Project Manager to be base in Dammam, Saudi Arabia to work on industrial oil & gas projects.

Candidate requirements:
- A minimum of 15 years total experience
- At least 5 years in Project Manager position
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Aramco approved
- Experience including work inside Saudi Aramco refineries, gas plants and petrochemical complexes.

Duties:
• Manage the daily operations of the project to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies and procedures
• Ensure effective utilization of the Construction Department’s budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
• Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to department personnel to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies
• Communicate and discuss the project guidelines and procedures with employees to ensure responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities are defined and understood
• Direct and monitor the project execution including time schedule, technical requirements and methods of statements
• Communicate with subcontractors to ensure their full understanding of the project scope of work and obligations
• Control the cost of the project materials in coordination with the Finance department
• Report progress on projects by suitable media to department management, maintain and update project reporting, checkpoints and financial reporting to a high standard
• Produce reports on each project at agreed intervals, and whenever substantive actions are required
• Review the daily reports submitted by direct reports that detail all day activities including risks associated with the project, important verbal communications, external visits, employment and equipment check and other related fields
• Ensure Compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across activities in order to guarantee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental behaviors
