Project Manager Pipelines

For our client, active in hydrogen (related) and CCS projects, we are looking to recruit a Project Manager Pipelines (staff). 

The company has the Energy transition, Sustainability and Innovate Solutions to the world’s most significant energy and environmental challenges as their core business. To support their growing portfolio of technically challenging projects they want to add to their global team of Project Management professionals based in the The Hague area. 

We are currently looking for a Project Manager Pipelines (Sr Pipelines Engineer) to help deliver the pipelines scope for EPC projects involving high technology plants. You will be expected to ensure projects are brought to completion under stringent safety, schedule, quality, and budget constraints.

As the Project Manager Pipelines (Sr Pipelines Engineer), you will;
- Manage and support projects to ensure smooth project development and execution, to meet contract and project deliverables
- Assist the lead Project Manager in ensuring successful and safe execution of pipeline projects (including underground electrical power supplies) in line with company's Project and Stakeholder requirements and local/national regulatory constraints.
- Specifically, be responsible for the execution of a near term portfolio of Green/Blue Hydrogen-related pipeline projects in the Rotterdam Pipeline Corridor (Public Domain) and other Benelux and European locations (eg. Belgium, UK).
- Interface with Company Engineering and external Pipeline Consultants to develop routing plans, area surveys, construction packages and permit applications for the routing of underground piping and cable systems in the various public domain piping corridors.
- Work closely with the Operations Pipeline Manager to deliver onstream requirements for company’s Operating group.
- Together with the selected Pipeline Consultant and the Pipeline Construction Contractor, coordinate with the pipeline and cable owners, local municipality, permitting bodies and key stakeholders in the public domain pipeline corridors, in order to have all necessary permits and agreements in place in time for execution of the works. Maintain regular communication and coordinate with all the involved parties throughout the project execution.
- In conjunction with the Project Team, develop the construction scope and contract documentation for the selection of Pipeline Construction Contractors. Manage the Construction Contractor selection process, initial meetings, kick-off and execution of the contractors’ scope to completion.
- Act as the primary execution contact to support the company Proposals team and Business Area with new proposals in the region, identifying the Scope of Work and Project Execution Strategy for estimating purposes and for presentation to customers.


Required: 
- Degree qualified (engineering).
- Substantial project engineering and/or management experience gained in an EPC/EPCM environment.
- Previous Pipelines experience: a visible track record of successfully supporting or leading pipelines engineering design and construction projects to successful delivery.
- A work ethic featuring determination, resourcefulness and resilience, with the ability to lead under pressure.
- Ability to understand evolving requirements, and to adapt leadership & communication style.
- A willingness to undertake domestic and international business travel, including extended periods away from home.
- EU passport for easy (business) travel.
