Project Manager (Wind)

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity with a Hybrid Renewable Energy Company as Project Manager (Wind). This role will report to Project Head. The location is Rajkot, Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities:

Project execution planning
1. Finalize project components, vendors, mobilization plan, implementation schedule, team etc. with Project Head for the identified project.
2. Engage with the client on project schedule, implementation plan, support requirements etc. along with the relationship manager
3. Engage and coordinate internal resources, engineers, consultants, and contractors in preparation and execution of project plans through completion.

Project implementation
1. Drive execution of the projects, keeping them on schedule and on budget, while maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
2. Ensure that the necessary approvals are in place and components and parts are delivered at site as per requirement including main crane / other cranes.
3. Local stakeholder management on ongoing basis for wind land, temporary and permanent pathway, lines, main Equipements etc.
4. Ensure project implementation quality
5. Evaluate and ensure that the contractors are carrying out their respective activities at site as per schedule with an eye toward managing project risks.

Project co-ordination
1. Present project progress, key findings, and recommendations on weekly basis.
2. Co-ordinate and manage contractors and conduct project meetings to discuss project progress.
3. Review and take ownership of project implementation budgets including cost of permits and fees, third-party consultants, and construction costs for off-site, site work.
4. Provide weekly progress reports to client.
5. Work with Project Head to optimize the cost and timelines including value engineering.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

1. B Tech with an experience of 5+ years in power generation.
2. Should have worked on wind projects for atleast one complete lifecycle.
3. Ability to effectively co-ordinate, manage and implement a project along with all stakeholders viz contractors, team, suppliers, client, locals / ROW. Resolve and report any issues that crop up.
4. Ability to influence different stakeholders to ensure project delivery on time.
