Project Planner / Scheduler

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for Project Planner / Scheduler. Our client is a leading bulk terminal and plays a vital role in the supply chain that transports Canadian commodities to the global markets This is a perfect long-term opportunity for individuals who are seeking to grow their skills in a leading company in this sector.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 5 years project planning and scheduling experience in marine shipping, oil&gas, mining, or other heavy industries
• Proficiency in Primavera 6 is a strong asset, but not required
• Proficiency in MS office suite (excel and MS project)
• Must be available to work on site
• Project experience on the owner side or experience in federally regulated corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with all departments to create and manage comprehensive project schedule
• Communicate project schedules to all stakeholders and parties
• Ensure compliance to safety, health, and environmental policies
• Create project construction schedule and resource plan
• Create resource and asset availability plan
