Project Procurement Specialist

We have a contract opportunity with potential long-term work for one of our clients involved in various mining projects in Canada.

They are looking to fill a PROJECT PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST in their Calgary or Sparwood office. This role offers hybrid work schedule.

Details:
-Reports to Procurement Lead.
-Completed Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, or any related fields
-At least 10 years combined experiences in full-cycle procurement and project execution related to mining, oil & gas, or industrial process plant including EPC and construction, strategic sourcing, logistics and freight, and ERP systems.
-This role requires someone with strategic procurement and issuance of purchase orders, preparation of bid packages for review and approval, contract administration and management, vendor management, and KPI reporting.
-Familiar with negotiation, contract formation, risk, and change management.
