TRS Staffing has an opportunity for a QA/QC Engineer with a mechanical and piping bias - with experience in the Pharmaceutical industry,
- Initial 12 month contract
- Site Based
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Control:
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for mechanical and piping systems.
- Conduct inspections and tests on piping fabrication, installation, welding, and pressure testing.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM, ISO, and project-specific standards.
- Review and approve method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submittals.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, and test records.
- Support the preparation and review of turnover dossiers and final quality documentation.
- Participate in audits and ensure traceability of materials and welds.
- Liaise with construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel on quality-related matters.
- Attend QA/QC meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with GMP, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Support validation and commissioning teams during system handover and qualification phases.
- Relevant Degree or certifications
- Relevant experience
