Brief Description
This job involves and has accountability for QA and the Quality Management Systems.

The major responsibilities are:
• Develop objectives and targets with periodic monitoring and evaluation.
• Ensure all external and internal audits are taking place regularly and all non-conformances are closeout.
• Develops and oversees the implementation of the Quality Management System of the company based on the ISO 9001 standards and Aramco standards to ensure compliance in the project.
• Oversee the recruitment and training program of fresh graduate Saudi nationals for the Quality Inspector job to comply with the ACTIVA Program.
• Implement a comprehensive Quality Management System following industry best practices and conforming to an ISO9001 standard.
• Reviews evaluate, and analyses complex information to ensure the department meets established quality standards and remains compliant.
• Organizes data into a logical format for oral presentation and in written reports as requested by management.
• Facilitate and/or participate in routine meetings with Client, Management, and staff members to discuss the accuracy of client requirements.
• Provide compile and report accurate data to management for internal use upon request.
• Ensure that appropriate records are maintained and that a well-documented tracking.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain all appropriate quality procedures, testing methodologies and test equipment to assure compliance to the client specifications.
• Provide management oversight and audits of subcontractors and suppliers to determine compliance with appropriate standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Work with construction management and project management to develop and implement inspection procedures.
• Accomplishes quality assurance human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
• Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, quality, and identifying and resolving problems, completing audits, determining system improvements.
• Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, corrective actions, and re-validations.
• Review monthly PQI and analyse it and make an improvement.
• Review monthly quality management reports.
• Review and follow up NCR as per agreed completion date, corrective action, and preventive action.
• Ensure QC Team achieve the company’s yearly objective (i.e. PQI, Welder Rejection Rate, etc).
• Implements contract requirements of Saudi Aramco Schedule Q.
• Coordinate with client appointed quality inspection teams to resolve conflict QA/QC issues.
• Familiarize with all Contract specifications, applicable code & standards.
• Monitoring project procedure implemented at the site.
• To replace QC Manager in case of absence.

Requirements
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Have worked to ISO-9001 standards
• At least 10 years of experience with quality assurance systems
• At least 5 years of experience managing quality systems in offshore, oil & gas, EPC
• Must have previous Saudi Aramco approval and experience of working on Saudi Aramco projects
