This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join a leading construction company. You'll contribute to a high-profile project in Royston, UK, working under the guidance of experienced leadership and supporting the delivery of the shell & core/CSA elements of a £120 million project.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the Senior QS and Managing QS with all aspects of quantity surveying for your designated project area.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates.
• Process and value subcontractor quotations and tenders.
• Assist with contract administration tasks, including variations, claims, and change orders.
• Track project expenditure and ensure adherence to budget allocations.
• Contribute to the preparation of progress reports and other project documentation.
• Maintain clear and accurate project records for cost control purposes.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Develop your skills and knowledge through on-the-job experience and mentorship.

What You'll Bring:

• A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a built environment discipline (or demonstrably equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in a construction quantity surveying role (or a strong understanding of QS principles).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential).
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
