Railcar Blaster

NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!

TRS Craft Services is hiring Railcar Blasters for Pasadena.

BLASTING:
Operates stationary blasting equipment to remove scale and other foreign substances from inside and/or outside of cars and other materials.
Removes foreign matter from grit.
Dismantles parts of machines to remove foreign matter when stopped up.
Makes valve adjustments and minor repairs to blasting equipment and checks proper gauge to ensure equipment is in good working order.
Cleans cars as required before and after blasting
Adjust and repair rail cars, rolling stock, and mine cars.
Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
Diagnose and identify malfunctions.
Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts, such as bearings, pistons, and gears.
Reassemble heavy equipment.
Repair large equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have Railcar Repair, Hydro Blasting and Confined Space experience
Valid TWIC Card and Basic Plus & Confirmed Space Awareness Training
Fit Tested for the Scott AV-2000 full face breathing air mask
