Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Reliability Engineer to lead initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize preventive maintenance strategies. This role is critical in driving continuous improvement in asset performance through data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance Optimization:
  • Analyze existing PM programs to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement optimized PM strategies using tools like FMEA, RCM, and CMMS data.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure PM tasks are value-added and aligned with asset criticality.
  • Reliability Engineering:
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor equipment performance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) and drive improvements.
  • Lead reliability projects to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Utilize CMMS and reliability software to track maintenance history and failure trends.
  • Generate Pareto charts and reliability reports to support decision-making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to implement reliability improvements.
  • Provide training and mentorship on reliability tools and best practices.
  • Support capital projects with reliability input during design and commissioning phases.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical
    • 10 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or asset management.
    • Strong knowledge of PM optimization, RCM, FMEA, and predictive maintenance technologies.
    • Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and data analysis tools.
    • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) preferred.
