Remediation Specialist

The Opportunity
Our client, an International industry leader in the Environmental Consultancy sector is looking for an Intermediate Remediation Specialist to join their team in Grande Prairie. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within environmental sciences and regulatory projects. The ideal candidate would have 2-4 years’ experience in the industry, with relevant knowledge of both Alberta & BC provincial and federal legislation. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy the outdoors, like field work within both urban and remote settings.

Responsibilities
• Full cycle field programs for ESA’s and remediation projects; ability to work with contractors, cost tracking, organization of field data and report writing.
• Field and lab result reporting including assessments, applications and guidelines (CoR & Tier 2).

Qualifications
• Degree/ Diploma in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, or with equivalent work relevancy.
• 2-4 years of directly related remediation experience
• Previous experience with strong, writing, organizational and technical skills
• Ability to work on a rotation of 10/4
