Reporting to: Production Supervisor/Barge Supervisor
In line with government local content this role is open to Equatorial Guinea nationals only.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute routine deck maintenance activities as directed by appointed Authority, keeping work areas and decks clean and tidy.
• Carrying out basic repairs to equipment.
• Assist as part of lifting, rigging and hoisting team
• Offloading supplies from boats and moving them into storage areas.
• Loading and stacking equipment using lifting gear.
• Perform General Maintenance Activities as directed by appointed Authority.
• Scraping and Painting areas when necessary
• Assist all department as required (handling, greasing, helping scaffolders, …)
• Assists in Helideck operations directed by appointed Authority as and when needed
• Be part of the Emergency Response Team together with other discipline members as directed by appointed Authority.
• Cross training with other departments so during times we are shorthanded they can stand-in
• To provide OJT (On-the-Job Training) for less experienced personnel so they are fully supported in their assigned tasks.
• Maintain a high degree of HS&E awareness
• Ensuring a safe place of work by complying with Permit to Work (PTW) system and safe working procedure(s)
• Compilation of accurate reports of any work or incidents affecting equipment or personnel.
Desired Certifications & Experience:
• Operational English reading and speaking
• STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers, IMO international convention) Regulation VI/1 Basic Safety Training, HERTM (Helideck Emergency Response Team Member)
• Offshore experience in production facility with Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position
