Responsibilities
1. Provide general administrative support for the sales function
2. Act as the CRM Super User for the Company, and provide general administration of the CRM System
3. Manage the Company fleet / market database and its interface with the CRM System
4. Be the owner and creator of Customer Accounts within the CRM System, and ensure that customer stakeholders and contacts are accurately mapped out in the system
5. Track the status of opportunities with the CRM system, and ensure opportunity status is accurately reflected, updated and that no past due opportunities are within the system
6. Manage the Sales function / CRM reporting requirements, including sales performance reports, sales dashboards, Key Account Management metrics etc.
7. Manage the Company portfolio of sales presentations and sales tools
8. Manage the Company product hierarchy and product cost / price make ups, and their integration within the CRM system
9. Support Technical Sales Managers with bid administration and tender document submission support
10. Provide CRM training to other team members
11. Develop and suggest areas for improvements to Company sales processes
12. Represent the business in a professional and positive manner at all times
Key skills
• Shipyards
• Experience in sales and marketing support and analysis within an engineering company
• Excellent knowledge of sales and CRM systems
• Experience performing data and market analysis
• Be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
• Have the ability to work well in a team and independently
• Have a strong customer focus, be personable and presentable and be able to work effectively with internal and external customers
• Have strong communication skills – both written and oral
• Have excellent organisational skills
