We currently seek a high North America Sales Manager for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Franklin, Tennessee.
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will lead our client’s commercial activities in the Aggregates and Recycling segments across the USA, Canada, and Mexico. This role blends strategic business development with the hands-on leadership of Account Managers and our dealer network.
The Sales Manager is responsible for growing market share through a balanced mix of direct sales and distribution partners, strengthening long-term customer relationships, and positioning our client as the trusted partner for wear part solutions. By translating regional objectives into actionable plans, managing budgets, and delivering accurate forecasts, the Sales Manager ensures both short-term performance and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Market & Business Development
- Drive growth in the Aggregates & Recycling segments by strengthening existing customer programs and developing opportunities with new dealers, recyclers, and crushing operations.
- Partner with customers to optimize wear part performance, reduce total cost of ownership, and secure long-term supply agreements.
- Identify high-potential markets where our client’s solutions are under-represented and implement clear entry strategies.
- Leverage OEM relationships and local dealers to accelerate penetration in new regions and applications.
- Build and manage a high-performing dealer network to expand our client’s reach in underserved areas.
- Provide distributors with training, pricing guidance, and marketing tools to ensure consistency in value delivery.
- Balance direct sales and channel partnerships to maximize growth and efficiency.
- Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with North American objectives.
- Support Account Managers in customer visits and negotiations to strengthen technical credibility and closing rates.
- Monitor sales performance against volume, margin, and market share targets, adjusting tactics when necessary.
Account Manager Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop Account Managers, setting clear objectives and providing continuous feedback.
- Ensure account plans are in place for key customers, with actions to grow share of wallet and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer focus across the team.
- Manage regional sales budgets, monitor performance by channel and account, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Deliver rolling forecasts for volume and revenue, informed by market trends, competitor insights, and customer pipeline data.
- Represent our client at trade shows, customer workshops, and industry events to strengthen brand awareness.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop tailored campaigns and content that support both direct and dealer-driven sales.
- Proven track record in sales and business development in Aggregates, Recycling, or related equipment/wear parts industries.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing and developing commercial teams.
- Solid understanding of quarrying, crushing, and recycling processes.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable, measurable results.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Fluency in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively across North America (approximately 50%).
