Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Physical Inspection: Conducting searches of property, which may involve lifting items up to 30 lbs. Use of metal detecting devices.
- Checkpoint Management: Controlling entry/exit points and directing traffic flow.
- Interacting with Staff: Providing guidance to personnel and responding to inquiries.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Citizenship/Age: U.S. citizen or national and at least 18 years old.
- Agility: Ability to bend, squat, and reach to perform property searches.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Skills: Must have prior law enforcement or military background. Strong communication (Radio and telephone), teamwork, and ability to work in high-risk austere environments.
- Compliance: Must pass a background investigation (criminal), and drug screening.
Work Environment:
- Schedule: Full-time including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Conditions: Work is performed at random checkpoints, which may or may not be temperature-controlled or have plumbing.
