Responsibilities:
- Oversee critical material orders and manage personnel at a mid-level with guidance from Material Management.
- Track and report on supplier’s progress towards fulfilling all obligations as per the Purchase Order’s Terms & Conditions.
- Work collaboratively with various teams including Material Management, Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS)/Quality, Engineering, Project Data & Document Management (PDDM), and Construction.
- Serve as a bridge between Office, Supplier, and Client when necessary.
- Create documents, manage files effectively, and maintain data tracking and reports.
- Input data efficiently into the Material Management Work Process using the approved Corporate Reference Tool to meet project needs.
- Conduct meetings for bid clarification, pre-award, post-award; supplier schedule/quality recovery.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in Material Management professional responsibility.
- Analyze and propose solutions to problems of varying complexity in line with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize various projects and tasks effectively to meet deadlines and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Requires at least 7-10 years in Material Management or Project Procurement.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Possesses the necessary technical expertise related to the job to meet the job requirements.
- Has the capacity to learn and apply knowledge of pertinent local, state/province, and federal/national laws and guidelines.
- Exhibits the ability to focus on details and work efficiently within time constraints.
