Senior Civil & Structural Engineer

Our client based in the Bristol area is looking for a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer. The main purpose of the role is to plan, organise, and carry out supervise the Civil/Structural engineering design and implementation of project work. As the civil/structural engineer you will determine new techniques to be used and may plan, schedule and review work of Engineers and Technicians. The civil structural engineer you will have experience with the following:
Strong technical background in the design and layout of industrial facilities and infrastructure.
Experience within Oil and Gas.
Worked on pipeline facilities, tank farms, process plants, etc.
Knowledge of the relevant National and International Standards and Codes of Practice
Familiar with the geotechnical aspects of Civil & Structural design and interpretation of the results of site investigations
Experience in the design and management of the civil/structural aspect of projects from conception to completion
Familiarity with common Civil & Structural design software such as Superstress, STAAD III, TEDDs, Microdrainage, PDS, etc.
15+ years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
