We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic project team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major EPC/EPCM project, working alongside industry leaders in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Join a dynamic project team contributing to a major EPC/EPCM project. Lead civil design efforts across scopes including:

Road realignments
-
Bulk earthworks
-
Rail infrastructure
Role accountabilities:
• Liaison, interface and representing Fluor with key Clients and Contractors.
• Design coordination for selected projects or components of projects, collaborating with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design, quality assurance and client expectations are met.
• Providing Technical advice for all aspects of civil design including bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, construction staging, constructability, and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Input to the production of drawing deliverables, basis of design documents, specifications, and material take-offs (MTO’s)
• Providing direction to the project team and promoting awareness of technical and commercial risk assessments and mitigation and best value design options; and
• Working with and mentoring junior engineers, designers and drafters and guide them in delivery and their professional development.
Qualifications & Experience:
• A collaborative approach and appreciation of the value of teamwork.
• A passion for continuous improvement, quality and improving service for our clients.
• Extensive design experience (>7 years) delivering resource and infrastructure projects.
• Relevant engineering degree.
• Demonstrated technical acumen with proven experience of managing and delivering design solutions.
• High attention to detail, good analytical and communication skills, and,
• Sound knowledge and experience working with relevant Australian standards including AUSTROADS.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a high performing team environment.
