Location: Courtenay, BC

TRS is seeking a full time Senior Civil Engineer for a large engineering and surveying firm. The client works closely with their clients and partners with many of their projects being roadways, subdivisions, infrastructure and coastal work.

This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a challenging opportunity and to grow their skills all while maintaining a work/life balance on the beautiful Vancouver Island.

Responsibilities

• Create New Business and relationships with clients, partners and agencies
• Lead civil projects from proposal stage though to commissioning of the work
• Production of engineering designs and drawings
• Coordinate Budgets and Quality Control standards and meeting achievements

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years in similar role
• P. Eng in British Columbia
• Experience with government, construction and developers
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D considered an asset.
