Senior Contract Specialist

Job Summary:

The Senior Contract Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts related to mining operations, including procurement, services, and construction. This office-based role supports project teams by ensuring contracts are legally sound, commercially viable, and aligned with company policies and project goals.

Specific role requirements:

• Experience in working for Tier 1 EPCM company
• Experience in managing high value SMPEI Contract Packages - Pre-award and post award
• Demonstrated claims management experience.
• Ability to work in high performance team and managing client expectations 
• Ability to drive positive cost and schedule outcomes through collaboration and interfacing with key project stake holders

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and mining project dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
