TRS Staffing is working with a global mining and publicly traded company with local Canadian presence that delivers quality gems.
The Contract Specialist oversees all go-to-market activities, contract negotiations, contract management, supplier relationship management, and service procurement.
SENIOR CONTRACT SPECIALIST (CONTRACT) - Calgary based role that offers hybrid work (3 days in the office T/W/Th and 2 days work from home).
Requirements:
-Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance).
-Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation would be advantageous.
-10+ years’ experience in contract execution and administration within a mining or industrial context.
-Experience with project sourcing and contracts is highly valued.
-Previous familiarity with SAP or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is preferred.
-Proficiency in key Office software tools, such as the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
-The successful candidate embodies attention to detail, self-motivation, and exceptional communication and customer service skills.
-The ideal candidate excels at developing and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. Additionally, they provide coaching and mentorship to other Contract Specialists on the team.
