Senior Engineer

TRS is hiring for a leading Solar company for the following role:

Job Title: Solar PV Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engineering Design & BOQ Preparation

   • Develop detailed engineering designs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for solar PV projects.

2. Technical Drawing Preparation

   • Create and manage technical drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant tools.

3. PVsyst Simulation & Shading Analysis

   • Perform energy yield simulations and shading analysis using PVsyst software.

4. Cable Schedule Preparation

   • Design and document cable schedules for solar installations.

5. Cross-functional Coordination

   • Collaborate with the PSM team and factory teams to ensure alignment on technical deliverables.

6. Vendor Technical Coordination

   • Engage with vendors to resolve technical queries and ensure compliance with project specifications.

7. Customer Technical Support

   • Provide technical assistance and support to customers throughout the project lifecycle.

8. Project Experience

   • Hands-on experience in Utility-scale MW projects and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) rooftop solar projects.

9. Site Visits & Client Meetings

   • Conduct site visits and attend client meetings as required to support project execution.

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in Solar PV projects with a similar job role is highly desirable.
