"TRS is looking for a Senior HR / Crewing Officer (HR Manager) to oversee and recruit a team of Human Resource professionals, supporting the business, oversees/manages Human Resources discipline experience within Oil & Gas Industry to join our dynamic Client’s project team based in Pemba, Mozambique."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsibility to implement HR strategies, and initiatives throughout the project, office, or local business line to improve workforce performance.
• Responsible for one or more significant corporate projects with budgetary responsibility, including the development or implementation of policies, procedures, and methods designed to enhance the ability to attract and retain qualified employees.
• Serve as a link between management and employees.
• Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes.
• Act as main resource to respond to queries regarding HR policies and procedures and applicable country regulations.
• Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities or subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations and employee relations.
• Prepare and monitor budgets for HR operations.
• Support change management with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
• Mitigate Risk.
• Adhere to and support Client’s HSE Sustainability Policies.
• Communicate regularly, internally and externally within Client’s.
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job.
• May need to travel to attend to business related matters.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited four (4) years Bachelor’s Degree or global equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Busines.
• Minimum 8-10 years of related field, with significant experience in Human Resources work-related within Oil & Gas Industry.
• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditation.
• Demonstrate ability to be discreet and confidential company and employee information.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cultures and cross-cultural collaboration.
