Provide advice on legal aspects of all Company's activities and draw up legal documents as requested. Handle claims and disputes and represent company before courts in the kingdom. Provide an expert advice and professional support on legal analysis, legal documents and court matters. Ensure professional recommendations on legal subject is as per the law and regulations. Perform various supporting responsibilities aiming to provide timely and effective deliverables related to legal matters
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provide advise on legal aspects of the Company’s activities to ensure that company business is conducted in a Legal manner.
- Draft bilingual contracts and agreements to mitigate commercial risks, ensuring that organizational legal requirements and standards are met;
- Review and assist in drafting Policies and Regulations, to ensure consistency with applicable laws.
- Review and analyze various documents for claims and disputes and assessing the risks;
- Represent company before all courts and judicial body’s in the kingdom;
- Review and participate in the preparation of documents of legal nature to be submitted to the Board of Directors. This will include but not limited to, participation in drafting related memos, board resolutions.
- Draft all type of legal memos related to claims and disputes or requested by courts or judicial body’s;
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess the impact on the company. The ability to Interpreting laws and regulations, keeping abreast of legislation and the ability to provide solid legal feedback on any laws or regulations.
- Perform legal research on all type of legal matters related to company activities.
-Formulate and negotiate and amend all type of agreements, contracts, moa's and loi’s in both Arabic and English.
Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in law from a recognized University and master degree in law from a recognized law school where the teaching language is English.
Could be a plus: JD degree from an accredited law school with substantial understanding of business.
Admitted to practice law in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Work Experience & skills:
• Senior level, at least 5 years of experience practicing law in a corporate or similar setting.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structural thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with professionals at all levels.
• Written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
• Strong work ethic and must be proactive/self-starter.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Very high attention to detail.
