Job Description:
Civil and structural Engineer for Power Transmission & Distribution for design engineering of HV’s - EHV AIS & GIS substations up to 765kV, Renewable projects etc. at various locations. Shall be able to do detailed designs of Substations switchyard and HV Systems. Knowledge in Substation engineering as per Specification and standards.
Role Overview:
Shall be responsible for complete internal and external projects co-ordination till projects completion.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of structural layout, foundation layout, drain layout and cable trench layout drawings with design as per technical specifications for switchyards AIS and GIS up to 765kv
- Design of Gantry (Tower & Beam) and equipment support structures and foundations up to 765kv.
- Design of Buildings CRB, GIS building, Parking sheds and other utility buildings.
- Preparation of Land development drawings and BOQ
- Design of Transformer and reactor foundations up to 500MVA
- Design of FFPH, reservoirs and underground water tank structures.
- Preparation of Civil and structural BOQ.
- Visit to Client office of site for technical discussion.
- Preparation of Tender BOQ estimation and support to Tender team.
- Shall be able to understand electrical layout and equipment drawings
- Should be able to work on STAAD PRO/CONNECT and AUTOCAD
- Knowledge of PEB buildings design.
Required Skills and qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech In Civil Engineering with 10 to 15 years of work experience with Substation Design.
