Job Title: Senior Manager- Environment

Client Overview:

Job Description:
• Monitor day to day operation of ETP Plant and bring out deviations to the knowledge of process owners & advise corrective measures so that the effluent meets the standards all throughout.
• Identify Trouble shoot areas in the field of effluent collection, characteristics and problems in Effluent treatment.
• Monitor emissions from stacks in the process plants, boilers, DGs and effluent from ETP. Monitor performance and communication of pollution control equipment.
• Control water consumption and waste generation. Develop plans for Water recycle, harvesting.
• Implement concept of Reduce, recycle and reuse
• Maintain environmental performance data and records related to statutory and legal compliance.
• Identification and development of green belt.
• Mobilize environmental audits.

Key Responsibilities:
• Stopping the work in case of deviation of consent parameters
• Monitoring day to day ETP plant & informing the deviations in the notice of in charges and highlighting the ETP problems to Top Management.
• Maintaining the records pertaining to statute and audit compliance.
• Green development as per the consent conditions.
• Environment budget preparation.
• Environment awareness in the employees and neighboring society.
• Environmental incident investigation
• Assist various statistical studies and modelling for sustainability.
Qualifications and experience:
BSc + ADIS/ M.Sc. Environment
or M.Sc. Chemistry with exposure to ETP operations
Minimum 5 years’ working experience in Chemicals industry along with exposure to ETP and environmental legal compliance


Technical/ Functional Expertise:
• Knowledge of Pollution Prevention & Abatement Techniques.
• Conversant with ETP Operations and functioning of other Pollution Control Equipment.
• Aware of all Statutory Regulations, limits on pollutants which can be safely discharged and standards pertaining to industries.
• Knowledge of EMS.
• Ability to make schemes for improving standards.
• Knowledge in preparing & studying PIDs and PFDs etc.
. • Waste reduction measures, 2P & 3 R Techniques.
• Liasoning skills.
