TRS Staffing is partnering with a number of clients across Engineering, Consultancy and infrastructure who are on the look out for talented Planners to work on a number of exciting projects.
Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for
the project execution
• Plan and organize the setup of project baseline in Fluor’s project controls system, and
implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis
• Develop schedule,
• Responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation,
training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists
• Analyze variances in schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the
reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management
• Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and
integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract
• Supervise and manage the change management process
• Manage the review of Project Profit/Risk Analysis with management and provide status
reporting
• Lead the proposal efforts for scheduling activities
• Interpret contract conditions to ensure compliance
• Maintain familiarity with the functionality of Fluor’s planning and scheduling system
• Provide meaningful, accurate historical data
• Lead the project control team
• Participate in the development and implementation of training courses and mentoring of
Project Controls personnel
• May fill the role of office Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a specific task or range of tasks
• Serve as a Project Controls Manager on a Project or in a Lead Cost or Schedule position on a
project
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying
complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely
manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
