The South Flank Project is being executed by a fully Integrated Project Team (IPT), jointly established by BHP and Fluor, consisting of employees from both organisations as well as other contracting organisations as applicable. The project has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Planner (Specialist Planning & Scheduling), to join the project team on site on a 15/6 days Roster for a 6 month contract
Role Specific Responsibilities:
Undertaking planning for South Flank project.
- Development & maintaining Level commissioning schedules by package.
- Interacting with contractors to discuss / resolve commissioning planning.
- Plan/actual/forecast analysis and variance reporting.
- All other panning & progress monitoring activities as required.
- Proactive approach to safety.
Required competencies/skills:
- At least 15 years of industry experience, of which 10 years should be in planning or equivalent.
- High level of proficiency in using Primavera (P6).
- Exposure to other planning software; Acumen Fuse, Risk Analysis is preferred.
- Should be able to understand overall project schedule and bigger picture.
- .Experience in large scale iron ore projects in Australia (multi-billion dollar).
Qualifications Required:
- Engineering degree desired but not mandatory.
- Certified Primavera professional preferred but not mandatory.
