Senior Planner

The project has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Planner (Specialist Planning & Scheduling), to join the project team on site on a 15/6 days Roster for a 6 month contract 

Role Specific Responsibilities:

Undertaking planning for South Flank project.

• Development & maintaining Level commissioning schedules by package.
• Interacting with contractors to discuss / resolve commissioning planning.
• Plan/actual/forecast analysis and variance reporting.
• All other panning & progress monitoring activities as required.
• Proactive approach to safety.

Required competencies/skills:

• At least 15 years of industry experience, of which 10 years should be in planning or equivalent.
• High level of proficiency in using Primavera (P6).
• Exposure to other planning software; Acumen Fuse, Risk Analysis is preferred.
• Should be able to understand overall project schedule and bigger picture.
• .Experience in large scale iron ore projects in Australia (multi-billion dollar).

Qualifications Required:

• Engineering degree desired but not mandatory.
• Certified Primavera professional preferred but not mandatory.
