Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a large project in Central Dublin with one of Ireland’s largest building contractors.
Responsibilities:
• Advise and report regularly to Management on contractual and legal matters.
• Prepare tender submission cash flow.
• Advise on contractual matters – general and project level.
• Identify contract grounds for claim.
• Determine claim strategy.
• Review notices and contractual correspondence.
• Prepare claim entitlement with Planner.
• Prepare claim narrative.
• Prepare financial claim.
• Follow up claim negotiations and maximise returns
Job Requirements
• Professional, Honours qualification in Quantity Surveyor
• 6 years’ minimum relevant experience in the building sector with a main contractor.
• Ability to work on large scale, high headcount construction sites & sub-contractors essential.
• Liaise with Construction Manager when dealing with internal stakeholders and client’s representatives while on site including attendance at meetings
• Strong time management skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
• Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
