Our esteemed client is a leading renewable energy company headquartered in Gauteng, focused on accelerating the transition to a carbon-neutral economy through large-scale power generation, decentralized energy solutions, and innovative technologies such as green hydrogen and energy storage.

We are seeking SharePoint & Information Management Specialist to lead the reorganization of the Finance SharePoint site and shared folder environment. This role will improve usability, governance, compliance, and collaboration across finance. This position is located in Johannesburg.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Redesign and rebuild a public-facing Finance SharePoint site with clear navigation and structure.
  • Define information architecture, metadata, permissions, and governance standards.
  • Clean up, migrate, and rationalize existing content.
  • Reorganize Finance shared folders/document libraries with logical taxonomy and access controls.
  • Implement version control, retention rules, and ownership models.
  • Develop governance documentation, user guides, and training material.
  • Conduct testing, training, and final hand-over to business owners.

Key Deliverables:
  • Structured, user-friendly Finance SharePoint site.
  • Clean, compliant, and well-organized shared folder system.
  • Clear permissions and governance framework.
  • Training and handover documentation.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
  • Strong SharePoint Online design and administration experience.
  • Experience with document migration, clean-up, and governance.
  • Solid understanding of metadata, retention, and internal controls.
  • Finance or corporate function experience (advantage).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and organizational skills.
