About the Role

As a Senior Construction Shutdown Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of shutdown activities across major projects. You will work closely with clients, engineering teams, and site personnel to ensure shutdowns are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive shutdown and turnaround plans

  • Lead coordination between client operations, engineering, and construction teams

  • Review and support project schedules, with a focus on shutdown activities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to construction support personnel

  • Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective solutions

  • Establish and improve shutdown processes, methods, and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies

  • Support both office and field project requirements|

About You

  • Proven experience in shutdown/turnaround planning within construction environments

  • Strong understanding of project scheduling (Primavera P6 or similar preferred)

  • Background in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams

  • Willingness to travel or work FIFO as required
