Previous experience working on rail is beneficial and successful candidates will be required to start ASAP. There is a possibility of permanent employment after an initial three month period for candidates who meet and/or exceed the requirements of the position.
Responsibilities of the role include;
Undertake Functional testing of signalling systems and equipment,
Test and inspect activities of signalling systems,
Undertake tests/checks to ensure compliance with design and specifications,
Undertake Functional testing and commissioning of level crossings,
Provide testing evidence for the work package and ensure all documentation and protocols are followed,
Ensure all testing schemes are carried out in a safe manner,
Ensure effective communication is maintained with stakeholders.
To be successful in this key role, you must have;
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role,
Experience on Pilbara Networks,
IRSE Licence (Functional Tester),
C Class Drivers Licence,
Construction Card,
WA “A” Class Electrical Trade Qualified (desirable),
CERT IV Signalling (desirable).
Applicants must:
Demonstrated safety awareness and practice,
Be able to satisfy the requirements of a medical,
Be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol on-site testing,
Be physically able to undertake manual tasks in a challenging environment.
