Our client, a leading Industrial Construction company with projects throughout Canada, is seeking a Site Crane and Rigging Superintendent to join their team in Kitimat, BC. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with heavy industrial construction crane and rigging and they will have supervised and managed craft personnel.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be involved establishing procedures and policies to ensure safety regulations are being met. They will supervise crane and rigging related construction activities; coordinate activities of contractors and ensure compliance; along with this, they will ensure the scope is completed on schedule.

Qualifications
- Must have 7+ years of experience in similar role and related education
- Must have previous experience with managing the crane and rigging activities on large-scale projects.
- Should have strong understanding of processes and methods to successfully complete crane and rigging operations
- Should have experience working in a unionized environment
- Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
