Job Description
Scope
This position will provide the Client’s field engineering team with support in Project Document & Data Management in an efficient manner while maintaining effective communication with Project Client, Home Office, Engineering Sub Contractors, internal taskforce members and field personnel. This position is expected to work independently, reporting to the Field Engineering Manager.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Transmit vendor documentation to the General Contractor and field engineering team
- Generate Engineering and Vendor reports for field engineer’s use and information.
- Issue field engineering redlines through Coreworx; transmitting to the Client and General Contractor.
- Process subcontractor documentation for squad check as directed
- Assist field engineering with Coreworx support. (i.e. locating documentation in Coreworx, verification/status of drawings issued from the Home Office, assisting field engineers on reviewing documentation in Coreworx and any other miscellaneous tasks).
- Interact with General Contractor document control on any issues or follow-up information needed regarding documentation.
- Additional responsibilities may include assisting with reproduction needs and package assembly as directed by field engineering team.
- Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff.
- Maintain Compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
Typical Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) years work-related experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statues and guidelines.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Working Conditions
- 50 hr. work week
- Possibly lift 30+lbs.
- Generally favorable indoor office workspace in a Construction Environment
- Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise level.
