Job Title: Store Executive

Location: Madhya Pradesh (Project Sites)

Job Summary

The Store Executive will be responsible for managing site stores for transmission projects, including receipt, storage, issue, and inventory control of materials such as tower materials, conductors, insulators, hardware fittings, cables, and consumables. The role ensures material availability, proper documentation, and compliance with company and project procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Store & Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials as per PO, challan, and invoice.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of transmission line materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records for materials, tools, and consumables.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise material indents as required.

Material Issue & Control

• Issue materials to site engineers and contractors against approved requisitions.
• Maintain Material Issue Notes (MIN), Gate Passes, and Return Notes.
• Track material consumption and report shortages, damage, or surplus.
• Ensure zero pilferage and safe custody of store items.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily inward/outward registers and stock ledgers.
• Prepare periodic stock reports, consumption statements, and reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with the accounts and procurement teams for documentation and audits.
• Support internal and external audits related to store activities.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow company SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure proper stacking and compliance with safety norms at stores.
• Coordinate with logistics for material unloading and dispatch.

Key Materials Handled

• Transmission line towers and tower parts
• Conductors (ACSR/AAAC/HTLS)
• Insulators and hardware fittings
• Cables, earthing materials, fasteners
• Tools, tackles, and consumables

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma / Graduate (any discipline preferred; Store/Logistics background is an advantage)
• Experience:
  • 3–6 years of experience as Store Executive / Store Keeper
  • Minimum 2 years exposure to power transmission or EPC infrastructure projects

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of transmission line materials and site store operations
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP (if applicable)
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Basic understanding of GST and inventory controls
• Willingness to work at remote project locations in Madhya Pradesh

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working at 132 kV / 220 kV / 400 kV transmission projects
• Familiarity with material reconciliation and closure at project completion
• Immediate or short notice availability
