About the Company:
Our client is an employee owned multi discipline Engineering design consultancy. They are currently engaged in a range of projects across the commercial, urban infrastructure & mining sectors. Role Description:
As a Structural Drafter you will design and prepare drawings for various structural projects across the commercial, urban infrastructure & mining sectors. We are looking for a Draftsperson who can rise to technical design challenges and wants to help drive a close nit, collaborative and friendly team forward.
This role will see you be responsible for:
- Preparation of engineering design drawings and drawings for various structural projects in accordance with the relevant guidelines, standards, and codes of practice, with minimal supervision.
- Prepare reports, records, and manage the filing of documentation, drawings, and maps in accordance with company guidelines and processes
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of job management processes and systems within the company.
- Undertaking research that includes innovation in drafting solutions where appropriate.
- Carry out site inspections and measurements when required.
About you:
You'll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future. In addition, you will have:
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or other related discipline, or an equivalent level of skill, knowledge, and experience.
- Comprehensive skill, knowledge and experience in structural design and documentation
- A prominent level of competency in AutoCAD. Revit & other 3D modelling skills would be advantageous
- The ability to multitask and enjoy working on multiple projects
- Knowledge of policies and practices relating to Quality Assurance and Occupational Safety and Health.
