Structural Engineer

TRS Staffing is seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Designer for a contract assignment based out of southwest Houston.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer Certification is preferred.
Minimum of 10-12 years relevant experience with designing fixed offshore structures such as Jack-up rigs and floating structures such as FPSO's and/or Semi Submersibles.
Prior experience in designing topside and hull structures is required.
Experience in blast analysis, drop object analysis and fire progressive collapse analysis is required.
Knowledge of ABS, DNV, API codes and standards is required.
Software experience with SACS, Genie, ANSYS is required.
