"Our international client has an amazing opportunity for an OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL STEEL CARPENTER with knowledge of all equipment for cutting iron sheets with gas (Oxygen and Acetylene) or cold cutting experience for SAIPEM 3000 Vessel based WORLDWIDE."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform structural steel fabrication and erection activities in accordance with safety and quality requirements and approved fabrication, erection and assembly drawings.
- Follow daily instructions given by Foreman.
- Verify the equipment, tools and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman.
- Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize co-activities and avoid unsafe conditions.
- Follow the permit-to-work statement.
- Ensure the housekeeping of the work location.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge - how to use all equipment for cutting iron sheets with gas (Oxygen and Acetylene) or cold cutting.
- Experience installing Jackets.
- Experience in the construction and installation of heavy steel structures.
- Diploma / technical qualification within field of experience.
- Minimum Five (5) plus year’s recent work-related experience within Oil & Gas Industry.
- Valid BOSIET/FOET and a Seaman Book with a validity date.
- Proficient English language both spoken and written.
