Supply Chain Procurement Analyst

Our partner, one of the largest petrochemical companies in the world is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Analyst to join their team. This is a long term contract opportunity located in west Houston.
DUTIES:
• Support related to Insourcing of Logistics Procurement
o RFP creation and analysis related to the insourcing of Full Truckload, Bulk, and Less Than Truckload procurement;
o Creation and maintenance of all trucking lane rates;
o Updating status and progress in Project plan;
o Request rail rates for new lanes and maintain database of rail rates by lane;
o Administrative support related to contract redlines and contract execution;
o Assist in presentation development; and
o Effectively communicating with 4PL Logistics provider, carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Support RFI and RFP development and analysis as requested;
• Support team with spend and savings analysis and reports;
• Enter contracts in SAP; and
• Other activities and duties as requested and assigned.
Experience Required: Experience as an analyst in Supply Chain and/or Procurement. Experience with SAP.
Experience Desired: Experience in sourcing trucking, warehouses, terminal and regional marine.
